My favourite oil among the ones I’ve tried (almond oil and jojoba oil) is coconut oil. I’ve heard about it through youtubers and bloggers like CloudyApples, Eppcoline and Holistichabits.

It might sounds obvious but the purest you choose the better. In fact you have to check that it is fair trade and cold press to avoid any loss of nutriment. Mine is from the brand noble-house (

The first time I used it was a bit wrong in the sense that I was only using this as a beauty product to hydrate my skin. Which is good in a way, but I could noticed after a while that my skin needed other kind of care. In fact, using it as a treatment like 2 to 3 times a week on my body, once per week on my hair and every day around my eyes and on my brows is enough.

I use it as a deodorant as well, I don’t smell depending on what I eat (I will come back to that later in this blogpost) but I sweat a bit, and I am personally fine with the sweaty thing because it is natural to sweat and it is a good way to eliminate toxines!

So for my body what I do is that I take a good shower first, then I exfoliate (exfoliation is once per week in my opinion). At the moment I’m using the “sweet scrub with lotus flower” from the brand Peggy Sage (not organic at all…). Then I put it all over my body, my neck and I massage it deep into the skin. Coconut oil, in addtion to hydratation virtue, has antibacterial properties. And I personally beleive that it helps preventing me to get sick. Then I put my pj on and good socks and I sleep in!

For hair I like to use it twice per month because my scalp is healthy for the moment. I do that during the weekend and again I sleep in it.

So yeah, during weekend I am a giant coconut!!

As a deodorant, my experience with coconut oil might be TMI but the purpose of blogs in general is to share experience right?!

So eat healthy is a must, and I personally experimented that eating protein every single day makes me smelly! Why? I don’t know… Even if it was homemade food with delicious meat, eating meat almost every single day affected my body in a bad smelly way…

On my face I have to say that a huge psychological aspect of using an entire natural product helped me with my skin. In fact, it is my own opinion, as I mentioned in my previous blog post, I wanted to eat and buy organic and healthy product so I had to start with something. Coconut oil helped me with that but after a while I saw my face needed other kind of treatment.

Now I use it once per week when I feel my skin needs it, but on my eyelashes and brows I use it every single day because I am part of the Coconut ladies (dixit CloudyApples) !!
