Hi My friends! I hope you are doing great. I brought a lemon at the office the other day and here is what happened:
I put half of the lemon in my bottle water and It gave me joy when I drank it.
I put what was left in my vegetables bowl and it gave flavour like crazy and I enjoyed it more than ever.
I put another half of that lemon in my bottle water and It gave me sparkles and joy and energy to give the best of me at work for the rest of the afternoon.
I put what was left in a cup of tea before I came to the gym and it actually gave me the enthusiasm to go to gym and to give the best of me (once again!).
All these little things which happened that day, all these little feelings that I get are not due to magic or imagination, it is scientific!
Lemon is a simple fruit with a thick skin which allows it to preserve all its vitamins and virtue.Because of its antioxydants and its vitamin C, it boosts the immun system; in fact it is an excellent antiseptic, antibiotic et anti-viral. According to the dietician Florence Foucaut, member of the Association française des diététiciens et nutritionnistes (AFDN), :
«The fatter the aliments are the more we need bile to digest. The acide citrique of the lemon stimulates the secretion of the bile in the liver. The fibers of the lemon facilitate the intestinal transit .»
Therefore the lemon is detoxifying: by stimulating the production of the bile in the liver “the lemon cleans the organism. The toxines which are in the body and those coming from the food are eliminated more quickly.
Vitamin C is the main component of the lemon, but what is Vitamin C basically?
The Vitamin C is water-soluble, this means that it can be dissolved in the water. Most of the mammals can synthesize vitamine C, however the organism of the human being cannot do it anymore. Therefore, it is really important to incorporate vitamin c with the help of food.
Vitamin c is mainly absorbed by the small intestine.
Vitamin C participates in a lot of process in the organism. One of them is to help the body to make collagen, which is really important for the skin, the ligaments and the bones.
It contributes to the maintain of the immun system, also it participates to the absorption of the iron which is very important for women.
