Last week I did a blogpost on my feelings about Autumn, the way I wanted the season to be: carefreeness and relaxed.
To achieve that sense of freedom, I said that I was going to implement some daily habits, and here they are:
Habit No1: walk on my way to work when it is sunny! It is a 20 minutes walk and the other day, I saw a Men doing Taï-Chi! This made me want to stop for 2 minutes and stretch for a bit.
Habit No2: holding a stress journal. I wrote down what was annoying me, not every day, but some days. And as I am a person of action I indeed take action (when i have a problem or a nice project in mind, I work on it).
For instance, there was this person at work who was really annoying me not personally but professionally, so I took the opportunity of a phone call we were having to say what I was having on my stomach for 3 months and guess what? The next morning I lost 1 kilo!!
I also decided to share my feelings among colleagues and it really helps. I have to say that for the majority of my life I was a lonely person, very social, but lonely because I love to spend time alone, by myself. However, I recently felt a change in my personality: I feel more connected to people as I am meeting more and more human beeings like me who, basically, are fed up about nasty and rude people.
Habit No3: allow myself of a maximum of 5 negative thoughts per day. What I call “negative thoughts” are more related to the unnecessity of the thought than the negativity itself. Because, having some bad thought is a human thing, right?! But then I ask myself: is it really relevant to think about that particular thing right now? Because spending 5 minutes on irrelevant and non-existing situation will not help me right now, it will just cause sadness.
Habit No4: exercise 5 times per week. I know, it looks like it is a lot, but I need that. If I don’t sweat 1 hour per day, I do feel tired somehow. You know, working in front a computer is not natural at all, so leaving the office during lunch time and go for a walk or to the gym for an hour is divine! Really!
And to celebrate the Autumn season, I bought some products I will be glad to tell you more about in a month when I will incorporate them in my morning and evening skincare routines:
So the first one is an old favorite: the Embryolisse Lait Crème concentré, it is a classic.
The second one is Dull Skin Serum Concentrate (Passion Fruit + Orange) from Odacité.
I am very curious to try it as I have been very surprised by a cleanser of that brand I tried, which is mainly made with mint and charcoal; the results were so good that I really look forward to use this one.
The next one is from the brand UMA, it has nothing to do with the brand, but in Japanese it means Horse! And I love horses (and elephants by the way…!).
I discovered UMA through a sample and the sent and the texture were both amazing.
As I have turned 39 years old, I though the idea of putting an anti-aging on my body was a good idea. Bizarelly I usually don’t put anti-aging on my face, because I want and I need to get old but in a good way, in the sense that if I feel that my face is moisturized and hydrated my anti-aging process is done.
The last products are from the brand Disciple and their products look really good.
As always, thank you so much for reading my post.
